Fifteen years after the conception of the Derby Park Flea Market came the unfolding of the newest entertainment event venue in Louisville, Kentucky, and it soon became a reality The Expo Five Expo Dome the oasis of entertainment in the middle of the desert of Seventh Street Road.

Astonishingly enough, a murmur began rumbling throughout the community, verifying with judgement as if this venue was to measure up to the criteria of the indigenous population.

The diversity of entertainment has made the Expo Dome available to many cultural backgrounds as
well as domestic flavors of music, excitement, laughter of love and delight.

The Expo Dome cannot be compared to any other venue. It is not large enough to be the Fairground, and it is too large to be compared to any bar, restaurant, or party establishment. The Expo Five Expo Dome is definitely a unique location to hold your next celebration.

There are acres of free parking, an 8,000-square-foot concert hall connected to a 4,800-square-foot game area with pool tables, video games, and Hoopla's Bar, or as some people call it: the Dark Room; and, you can now rent our new and spacious banquet room. |
The Expo Five offers the flexibility to self-sponsor events or to lease out the Expo Dome or the four-acre outdoor arena. Many promoters have succeeded far past their imagination. Success is determined by the attendance of any given program.

The competitive edge for most shows is the free advertising provided by the 8,000 to 15,000 weekend customers attending the Derby Park Traders Circle Flea Market.

Tickets for concerts can be purchased in advance at a discount price at the Flea Market, the Treasure Gallery and Hoopla's Bar, and are also available at the door for regular admission prices. Weekend events (karaoke setups, and local bands practicing on the Expo Five stage) during the Flea Market hours are generally free. |
We encourage self-promoters and anyone who has visions of prosperity and who can formulate their ideas to check out our calendar of events; and, open dates can be arranged.

Numerous charities have profited by promoting various fundraisers and other benefits.

Expo five has also hosted high school groups, church groups, gospel hours, wedding receptions, family reunions, private parties, college parties, Kentucky Derby parties, OVW Wrestling, boxing events (both amateur & pro), car shows, bike shows, live concerts, baptisms, national and local musical groups: from country-western, rap, blues, rock, alternative, Latino, various DJs, competitions, the Insane Clown Posse, the Kentucky Headhunters, karaoke, talent shows and so much more.
